The Dolphin M 550. It's the current entry model in Maytronics' M-Line range and covers floor, walls and waterline on pools up to 15 m, with a 3-year warranty.

For most Brisbane backyard pools, the M 550 is the sensible default — full coverage, app control, 3-year warranty, and it suits pools up to 15 m. If your pool sits under heavy tree cover, the M 700's larger filter capacity is worth the step up. For smaller pools without much debris, the S 1000 or S 2000 does the job for less.

Both are corded, Wi-Fi connected and app controlled with a 3-year warranty. The M 600 adds the PowerStream Mobility System, which uses multi-directional water jets to grip surfaces, and a filter indicator. It's the better choice on awkward pool shapes, steep transitions and older interiors.

For most pools now, yes. The EON and Liberty ranges cover floor, walls and waterline, and the EON 120d will run scheduled cycles for up to two and a half weeks on one charge. The trade-off is run time: on a large pool with a heavy debris load, a cordless needs charging more often than a corded model needs anything at all.

Both cover the whole pool including steps and a 20 cm sun ledge, both run on the Maytronics One app, and both suit pools up to 15 m. The 120d adds DebrisLock backwash filtration, which cuts down hands-on filter cleaning, extends scheduled running to about two and a half weeks per charge, and carries a 3-year warranty instead of two.

With the filter emptied after each cycle and brushes replaced as they wear, a well-kept Dolphin typically gives many years of service. The parts that wear are consumables - brushes, tracks, filter cartridges - and we stock them.

Yes, at all three shops. We handle Maytronics warranty work and out-of-warranty repairs, including cleaners bought elsewhere.

No. A robotic cleaner removes debris and brushes surfaces. It does nothing to your water chemistry — you still need to sanitise and balance. Bring in a water sample and we'll test it free while you wait.
