When the demand is low the heat pump reduces its output, limiting the electricity usage and the exertion placed on the heat pump’s components, limiting the start cycles.
Other heating options for your pool have their benefits such as solar, which is cheap to run though slow to heat, and gas heating which is expensive to run but heats your pool quickly.
Inverter heat pumps have found the perfect sweet spot with their moderate cost to run whilst heating your pool reasonably quickly and maintaining a constant temperature.
