Components of the MagnaPool® system
To change your pool to a MagnaPool® pool, you will need these 3 components to make up the MagnaPool® system.
The Hydroxinator + Optional pH & ORP sensors
The upgraded automatic cleaning cell plates have an ultra-long life, combined with smart tech in chlorine production that will provide years of performance. Monitor and manage your basic water parameters, keeping pH levels in balance and perfectly regulated. The Hydroxinator also features automated chlorine management via an ORP sensor.
Pool cover mode allows you to connect an automatic pool cover that will automatically drop the output to your desired level without having to do a thing.
Features a built-in WiFi chip that allows you to monitor and control remotely, for complete control at your fingertips anytime, anywhere.
Glass Filtration Media
The combination of coarse and fine crystals provides the best filtration. This glass media is far less prone to clogging than sand and therefore provides deeper, more effective filtration. The better the flow rate through your pool’s filter, the more water you circulate over time, which ultimately means a cleaner pool.
MagnaPool® Minerals
Soften and produce silky, sparking clear pool water that is gentle on skin, eyes and hair. It also reduces the need for many additional chemicals helping to keep your maintenance to a minimal cost.
As MagnaPool® is not compatible with cartridge filters, ensure you have a media (sand) filter fitted, we recommend a full water and equipment analysis prior to converting your pool to ensure everything goes smoothly.
Here’s how we can convert your saltwater pool into a MagnaPool®
1. We fit the Hydroxinator in place of your current chlorinator and fit the electrolytic cell where your current cell is (or another suitable place on the plumbing line).
2. We then change the sand over to glass media, this allows for the best filtration and backwashing capabilities.
3. Then we balance your pool and reduce your TDS (total dissolved solids) by reducing the amount of salt water/adding fresh water. Then we calculate how many bags of MagnaPool® minerals are needed and then we add them to your pool.
4. Once we’ve added the right amount of MagnaPool® minerals, we allow the system to run for at least 24hrs non-stop to get proper circulation and dilution.
*You may notice some foaming appear during this start-up phase, this is part of the process.
5. After 24hrs have passed you can jump in and start enjoying your new MagnaPool®!
