Green Pool Clean Up

Check out the transformation of this green, swampy pool that was in drastic need of rescuing by our team. When we arrived, we couldn’t see the top step, let alone the bottom of the pool.

To get the pool back to it’s best, we began the process of floccing the pool. Follow the transformation over the next two weeks to return this pool back to clear and ready to swim!

Floccing a pool is the process of dropping all the suspended particles in the water to the bottom then vacuuming all the sediment out to waste; completely bypassing the filter.

We returned a few days later to a very cloudy pool, which is all the dead algae, dirt and debris, which now needed to be removed from the water.

We were able to begin vacuuming the flocced sediment out to waste which had dropped to the pool floor. We vacuumed the pool to waste over two days as the water level needed to be topped up and to allow the debris to re-settle to the pool floor again before finishing the vacuuming.

After all the sediment was removed, we treated and rebalanced the water and checked the filtration system to ensure all was ready to go.

This clean up from start to finish, took a total of just under two weeks.

To avoid this from happening to your pool, it’s essential to keep up your regular maintenance, however, if your ever get caught out, we’re always here to help!
